Ever wonder what Factory Butte looks like from above? I know a lot of you have asked me. It's pretty spectacular. I'll post some photos in the comments. This standalone rock formation is gargantuan. I've calculated him to be 1,600 feet tall. The spine you are looking down is nearly 3,000 feet long. From the nearest highway, he looks to be about a half mile away, but he's six and a half miles away! The astonishing Factory Butte. You can't even believe its size. From the highway it looks like it's about 1/2 mile away, but it's 6 miles away! And this observation point has its own bizarre moonrock. It's an easy drive on well-graded roads.
