Jody Watley – “Friends”(feat. Eric B. & Rakim)A pioneering crossover moment—when R&B met hip-hop in a bold, genre-shaping way. 🔥Originally released in 1989, this hit helped lay the groundwork for future R&B/rap collaborations we now take for granted.🎤 Here’s Jody Watley live in 2022, reimagining it with a funkier, more organic edge—less synth, more groove. Always a unique concert experience! Trendsetter then. Icon always. #JodyWatley #EricBandRakim #HipHopHistory #RnBLegend #LivePerformance #T
