I’m putting up these little joists, notched onto a beam. Between these two is a horrible little gap that is just boring to plaster. So, I’ve notched in a little timber and secured it with wedges (since I’m using scraps of all different sizes). It’s a neat finish, and I can stuff insulation behind the boards. I’ve left the boards a little proud so that they can bite into the woodwool board that will go on top. I learnt this years ago working as a carpenter in Canada.. #carpentry #woodworking #tri
