According to the Mexico’s National Seismological Service, a magnitude 6.5 earthquake struck near San Marcos in Guerrero, Mexico, at 7:58 am local time on Friday. The epicenter was located at 16.77 degrees north latitude and 99.41 degrees west longitude, with a focal depth of 5 kilometers. Multiple aftershocks have been recorded.
