☆☆☆☆☆ Ric Ocasek appeared on the cover of Interview magazine in March 1987, a publication famously associated with Andy Warhol. Ric was also closely connected to Warhol and by any standard a Warhol superstar and collaborator. Warhol created portraits, both polaroids and paintings of Ric, directed The Cars' music video "Hello Again," and featured Ric on his TV show [Fifteen Minutes.] This connection placed Ocasek perfectly within the Warhol circle of art and pop culture during that era.
