This week in music history, Traffic released their sixth studio album, ‘Shoot Out At The Fantasy Factory’. Recording sessions took place at Strawberry Hill Studios in Jamaica, and the band was joined by 4 members of the famed Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section: David Hood, Roger Hawkins, Barry Beckett, and Jimmy Johnson (though Beckett and Johnson only appeared on the song “Tragic Magic”). The album went to #6 in the US charts and earned the band a gold record. Here’s Traffic performing “Evening Blue”
