The latest rumors suggest that the San Diego Padres are interested in trading for Miami Marlins starting pitcher Sandy Alcantara.

Earlier this week, ESPN’s Buster Olney reported that the Padres had discussed Dylan Cease with multiple AL East teams in addition to the Mets and Cubs.
