Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun and Toyota Motor Corporation Chairman Akio Toyoda are set to meet later this month at a motorsport event co-hosted by the two companies in South Korea. This marks the first time that the heads of the leading car manufacturers from Korea and Japan will meet publicly.

Everland Speedway was the first permanent motor racing circuit in Korea. It features 17 turns over 2.7 miles total. It hosts several notable events each year including the Lamborghini Trofeo Asia series. Now, Toyota and Hyundai drivers will get a chance to pilot their cars on the same course.

The event will take place in South Korea on 27 October 2024 and will feature future-oriented cars from both companies in homage to motorsport's prospects.
