It’s not hard to picture the Deschutes River as summer fun utopia until the river becomes a little too unruly. Tragedy struck at Dillon Falls this weekend when six individuals were pushed over the infamous 15-foot plunge and foamy step-ladder rapids and one was killed,

The group of six that floated into Dillon Falls on the Deschutes River were using inner tubes tied together when they entered the Class V rapids.
