Chicago residents are cleaning up after strong storms with hard rains caused flash flooding Friday, especially on the South Side.
Footage from residents showed heavy flooding on Harlem Avenue in Summit and on Drake Avenue in Chicago’s Brighton Park neighborhood. Video from a viewer in Darien showed heavy rainfall and flooded streets in the area. The flooding prompted several roadway closures across parts of the Chicago area.
