In a new interview, Quinn Hughes revealed he's the biggest bookworm on the Vancouver Canucks and read roughly 30 books last year.

“Quinn’s a very dynamic defenceman who carries the play,” fellow NHL captain Landeskog says of the Canucks defenceman in the documentary. “You can’t expect anything from others unless you’re ready to do it yourself. It’s important to be that person for the team to look up to and be able to follow.”

Canucks assistant coach Adam Foote has a special appreciation of how devoted Hughes is to his craft. Foote won two Stanley Cups with Colorado as a big and imposing presence on the back end. The Canucks captain surprised Dorothy Palmer, a 105-year-old fan, after the team’s training camp scrimmage in Penticton, British Columbia, on Sunday.
