Sean “Diddy” Combs has asked the judge who is overseeing his case to acquit him or give him a new trial – before he has even been sentenced.

The court should adopt a narrow view of the Mann Act, the legal team states in a new filing, calling its application in Sean Combs’ circumstances “unprecedented.”

In a 62-page motion, the music mogul’s legal team argued that his conviction under the Mann Act — which bars interstate commerce related to prostitution — should be overturned.
