Oscar Piastri said he turned his personal disappointment into motivation to succeed on Sunday after he produced an impressive drive to his sixth victory of the season in the rain-delayed Belgian Grand Prix.
While Piastri's win wasn't a total shock, the performance of Australia's two 4x100m relay teams were. The Aussies ended the opening night of the swimming world championships with double gold after the country's men and women both prevailed in the 4x100m freestyle events.
D rivers' Championship leader Oscar Piastri secured pole position for the Belgium Grand Prix Sprint Race, setting a blistering time which rival Max Verstappen could not beat. Piastri cleared Verstappen by more than four-tenths and cleared his teammate Lando Norris by six-tenths.
