The troubled 23-year-old woman accused in Saturday’s hit-run that killed two people in Chinatown had been charged in another horror crash just three months ago and freed without bail, records

A car accident in Chinatown, NY, left two dead after a stolen vehicle crashed into a cyclist and pedestrian. Two women were arrested following the incident.

Police said two women in their 20’s were driving the Malibu when it slammed into the two victims. They initially tried to leave on foot but police said they took both women into custody and neither had serious injuries. The NYPD said it had not filed charges as of Saturday afternoon.

Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver and her female passenger apparently tried to flee.
