Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard told lawmakers in a letter Monday that she attended an FBI search of the elections hub in Fulton County, Georgia, last week because President Donald Trump asked for her to be there.

Following last week's seizure of ballots, old wounds from the 2020 election have reopened for Democrats and Republicans in Georgia.

The president has continued to question the state's 2020 election results.

Video published by The Atlanta-Journal Constitution shows the raid from the perspective of Fulton County police officers after federal agents arrived to the Georgia election office.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche told CNN this morning that the FBI's seizure of Fulton County, Georgia's 2020 election ballots was authorized by a warrant provided by a federal grand jury as part of a criminal investigation into election fraud.
