MEMPHIS, Tenn. — There's a Dense Fog Advisory in effect for the Mid-South until 9 a.m. Friday. Watch out for patchy fog this morning. It's a chilly start to the day with reduced visibility.

It's not how you start but how you finish. We had some snow showers to open the day before temperatures jumped into the lower 40s, which helps to induce melting across the state for midday.
