A 38-year-old man is in serious condition after a single-vehicle crash into light poles and a tree fronting Waipahu High School on Thursday, according to first responders.

A judge has sentenced the driver who ran a red light on Soncy Road and 45th Avenue, killing two people and injuring another.

Police say an officer and suspect were hit by a car on Thursday night during a foot chase near Reems Road and Acoma Drive.
