Glen Hansard, the Irish singer who won an Oscar for the musical movie Once and the led the bands The Frames and The Swell Season, died on Wednesday. He died following a motorcycle crash in Dublin.
Evelyn Foley was redecorating her home in Ballymun, Dublin, when she noticed a man outside peering in. Glen Hansard had come back to see the house he grew up in. She didn’t realise who Hansard was until they had tea in her kitchen.
