Dubai’s Emirates airline has banned pagers and walkie-talkies from its planes, following last month’s attacks on such devices carried by the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.

Emirates has announced a ban on passengers carrying pagers or walkie-talkies onboard its flights. The Dubai airline said the ban would apply for both checked and carry-on luggage for all flights to, from and via Dubai.

It comes after a series of attacks last month that targeted similar devices used by the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.
