Rutgers football is 5-6 after suffering a blowout loss to No. 1 Ohio State and will now need to beat Penn State to become bowl eligible.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football will be without its two best receivers, Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate, during Saturday’s game vs. Rutgers. Tate has not played since a Nov. 1 victory against Penn State. He ranks eighth in the Big Ten with 711 receiving yards and sixth with seven touchdowns.
