The NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC issued a weather alert at 3:01 p.m. on Friday for snow until Saturday at 12:15 a.m. The alert is for Swain, Haywood and Graham counties.

The NWS Newport/Morehead City NC released a cold weather advisory at 1:11 p.m. on Friday valid for Saturday between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. The advisory is for Mainland Dare and Mainland Hyde as well as Washington and Tyrrell counties.
