Michigan has back-to-back top-10 matchups against undefeated Nebraska and rival Michigan State in a crucial week in the Big Ten slate.

Friday's meeting between Michigan and MSU will be a massive matchup, with both teams ranked in the top 10 and tied atop the Big Ten standings.

The Michigan State women's basketball team got off to a strong start while rolling to a Big Ten victory over Purdue. The No. 13-ranked Spartans ended the opening quarter on a 14-3 run while taking control en route to an 86-65 victory over Purdue on Thursday, Jan. 29, at Mackey Arena.

"I feel like they have a great staff, great players, but I feel like, you know, we're the more talented team," said Michigan guard Roddy Gayle Jr.

An Alma College commit who averaged 22 points per game last season, Dugener recently scored a season-high 32, including several NBA-range 3-pointers. “He’s really built that range with his jump shot,” coach Chuck Rypstra told MLive. “He doesn’t have to be right on the (3-point line) to get his shot off.”
