Lee County is bracing for impact from Hurricane Milton. Milton strengthened into a major, Category hurricane on Monday (Oct. 7). Landfall is still predicted to be somewhere along Florida's west coast from North of Tampa to around Fort Myers.

Hurricane Milton, currently a Category 4 storm, is expected to make landfall on the west coast of Florida in coming days. However, the National Hurricane Center and the National Weather Service are not yet certain where it will hit.
