Video of the deadly Louisville, Kentucky, crash showed flames on one of the plane's wings and a huge fireball erupting as the aircraft hit the ground.

The plane at the center of a deadly Kentucky crash has been a workhorse in the cargo industry for years, but it had gained a reputation as an aircraft that was behind the times.

Officials report that the FedEx driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to Archbold Hospital in Thomasville.

An initial investigation showed that a 2015 Chevy Cruze failed to stop at a stop sign and hit a 2019 Ford E-450 FedEx delivery truck. The Chevy was going eastbound on Horatio-Harris Creek Road. He approached a stop sign at the intersection of State Route 118, but did not stop, the spokesperson said.

A two-vehicle crash closed State Route 118 and Horatio Harris Creek Road in Greenville Township for over two hours on Saturday. According to the Darke County Regional dispatch, crews were sent out at approximately 11:30 a.

The rescue was made by a FedEx driver and a traveling couple who worked together to lure and capture the dog by a mountainside.
