The multi-year saga surrounding the future of St. Louis Cardinals broadcasts on FanDuel Sports Network was resolved Monday, as the team announced it would leave the beleaguered Main Street Sports group and transfer control of its broadcasts to Major League Baseball’s production studio.
The St. Louis Cardinals announced on Monday that Major League Baseball will produce and distribute all in-market St. Louis Cardinals games for the 2026 season. Fans will be able to watch games on traditional cable and satellite providers as well as through Cardinals.
The 13 teams carried on Main Street’s channels in the NBA are the Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, Memphis Grizzlies, Milwaukee Bucks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Oklahoma City Thunder, Orlando Magic and San Antonio Spurs.

Fans will once again have access to a direct-to-consumer streaming platform, offering in-market access to live Cardinals games.
According to sports business reporter John Ourand, the St. Louis Cardinals have informed Major League Baseball that they plan on utilizing MLB as their broadcast partner moving forward. He put the news out on social media as the Cardinals have officially ended their relationship with Main Street Sports.
