Forgive the poor pun and reference, but it sure smells like The Rock might make his way back to WWE programming soon.
A lot of Hulk Hogan tributes have dropped the leg over the last day or so, but none have hit me harder than what The Rock posted this morning. The biggest movie star in the world just posted a video and lengthy tribute to his WrestleMania X8 opponent, and as a huge wrestling fan, it’s difficult to get through without getting emotional.
Once heralded as the next greatest rock guitarist and touted as a member of Duran Duran and Thin Lizzy, but due to "cruel twists of fate", fame always eluded Robin George. The artist, who died last year, is remembered by a dedicated group of fans and a new book which charts his career highs, as well as the catalogue of bad breaks that plagued it.
The iconic stand-up comedy venue confirmed the appearance as owner Jamie Masada was in attendance to catch Rock’s hourlong set that ended with the audience “roaring and screaming.”
Entertainment producer Don Rugg of Apple Valley reflected on the death of music legend Ozzy Osbourne, who he impersonated for nearly two decades.

It's the lead single from The End, Mammoth's third studio album, due Oct. 24. Mammoth II, the band's previous LP, debuted at No. 1 on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart in August 2023 and has accumulated 58,000 equivalent album units to date.
