The Chips Ahoy! cookies are inspired by the Upside Down, a dark alternate dimension that has played a key role in every season of "Stranger Things."
In honor of the team's collab with Stranger Thing s and Netflix (which also resulted in some pretty fire uniforms ), the game began with a special "Upside Down"-themed Fever intro video, featuring eerie accents, spooky black and red coloring, and of course, a demogorgon appearance.
As part of the collaboration, Chips Ahoy! is also releasing retro-inspired packs to make it look like you’re back in the 1980s. The new cookies will be available nationwide starting August 11, ahead of the “Stranger Things” fifth and final season releasing later this fall on Netflix.
