President Trump isn't kidding around with his new threat to the NFL's Washington Commanders, the White House says.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said President Donald Trump is serious about wanting the NFL's Washington Commanders to go back to the name Redskins.

Trump threatened on Sunday to hold up a stadium deal for Washington’s NFL team if it does not change its name back to the Washington Redskins. He also urged Cleveland’s baseball team to revert to its previous name, noting that there was a “big clamoring” for both name changes.
