Itâs box office clobberinâ time â or so Marvel hopes. âThe Fantastic Four: First Steps,â the 37th installment in Disneyâs Marvel Cinematic Universe and third to release in 2025, is aiming for $100 million to $110 million in its opening weekend.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps hits cinemas in days and the film's Rotten Tomatoes score has been revealed. It's good news for the latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as it is currently sitting on a very respectable 86% Fresh rating.
First Steps marks the fourth attempt to translate the original comic book characters of Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ben Grimm/The Thing to the silver screen. This time, the action will take place in an alternate history/parallel universe set in the â60s.
Talk about a class act. On top of thanking fans who have been re-watching his tenure as The Thing, the Shield actor also took the time to wish the cast of The Fantastic Four: First Steps good luck on the movie's impending release.
