Raiders Make Christian Wilkins Announcement Before Training Camp originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Las Vegas Raiders took a big swing in free agency last offseason under then-general manager Tom Telesco. He signed former Miami Dolphins star defensive tackle Christian Wilkins to a four-year deal worth up to $110 million.

Wilkins suffered a Jones fracture early last season and experienced a setback during offseason recovery. Head Coach Pete Carroll acknowledged the difficulty of Wilkins' recovery process. The team begins practice Wednesday without Wilkins, and his return date remains uncertain.
